I have enough for the 16GB with $70 left over.
I still need $40 for the 32GB and wouldn’t have any money left over.
I am 15 and I have been saving up forever! I currently have $710 and the iPad is much more expensive in Canada…
I have a chance to buy one tomorrow (I am 3hrs away from the closest store that sells them)
I don’t know if I should;
1) Buy the 16GB one and have $70 left over for accessories/other stuff.
2) Borrow $40 from my grandparents and have to pay them back ASAP.
I want room for:
- 1000 pictures, 1500 at the most!
- Movies, I download them online, so could easily take them on/off, I would say I would like to have 3 or 4 at a time.
- Books, maybe a few samples and 1 or 2 full books.
- Apps…At least 50+ I am guessing (?)
- Music, only 50 songs or so. I have an ipod already.
- Mail, Safari, Calender,Notes etc.
I currently have an 8gb iPod, it has 350 songs/20 pics/3 movies/30 apps and I have 3.4GB free.

The 32gb one is what you will need as videos hog the most spaces and photos can hog more space too.

32GB but i don’t even think you should buy it since your 15 and that money is your life savings. Knowing Apple they will have replaced the Ipad with a new version in 2-3 years. If you put that money in the bank you can let it accumulate interest and use it for emergencies. You can also get a car with bit more money.

32 GB- you have a LOT of pictures, and just to be safe, you wouldn’t want to run out!
